WHAT IS DERMAPEN® 4?
Dermapen® 4 is the gold standard of micro needling - Collagen Induction Therapy.  Utilising the most advanced needle cartridge innovation to vertically pierce the skin creating millions of micro channels up to 104% faster than other micro-needling devices. WHAT CONCERNS DOES DERMAPEN® 4 TREAT?
Anti Aging - Dermapen® 4 treatments are firstly designed to create a safe healing response within the body. This leads to kick start natural collagen and elastin production from within the skin, without harsh side effects and downtime. Consequently, this results in repairing the surface layers to result in healthier skin, looking brighter, tighter, more even toned, refined pores and reduced wrinkles.
Acne - Acne can affect all skin types and all ages, and may be caused by a combination of genetics, hormone changes, health, stress and or environmental factors. Hormones can stimulate excess sebum (or oil) production, excess oil, dry skin and debris combined can become trapped in the pore. If the pore becomes blocked the acne bacteria can cause inflammation and can make the skin more susceptible to other bacteria. Dermapen® 4 micro- needling regenerates the affected area by stimulating the production and distribution of collagen. WHAT HAPPENS DURING THE TREATMENT?
Micro needling is a very quick procedure which takes around 10-15 minutes.  The skin is cleansed and after the needling an ultra-soothing 3D hydration mask is applied followed with SPF. 
 
IS THE TREATMENT PAINFUL?
Unlike traditional dermal rolling techniques, Dermapen® 4 is the most comfortable micro-needling treatment available, thanks to advanced technology and design.  With Dermapen® 4 there is no need for any topical anaesthetic.
 
HOW MANY TREATMENTS DO I NEED AND HOW OFTEN?
It depends on the type of treatment but generally between 3-6 treatments. The time between treatments will also depend on what we are treating and will be between 2-8 weeks apart.  A plan will be made in consultation to ensure you're getting the best possible results.

HOW LONG SHOULD IT TAKE BEFORE I SEE RESULTS?
Typically, you will see results after the first treatment. Lasting and more significant results continue to improve over the next 6 - 12 months after a course of treatments.

IS THERE ANY DOWNTIME AFTER TREATMENTS?
Generally no, but you may experience facial redness for 12- 48 hours after the treatment. Most people are able to return to normal daily activities immediately after the treatment.
